Icing
Tamamori shows up the first day after Gokusen filming ends, exhausted but supremely satisfied with himself. He isn’t surprised to be ambushed immediately by Miyata holding rather squashed box.
“I had to fight off all of A.B.C.,” he explains, “and their Z.”
Inside is a (mostly) unsquashed cake, white frosted with one strawberry.
“When you’re a famous movie star,” Miyata’s voice is teasing, but there’s a hint of worry in it, “don’t forget I brought you cake.”
Tamamori cups Miyata’s face with his free hand and pulls him close enough for a kiss.
The cake ends up getting squashed anyway.
